A letter from Diane & Mother Gretta, Perth International Candlelight Memorial Coordinators regarding the Perth International Candlelight Memorial 2012
Dear Perth International Candlelight Memorial Coordinators,
We have been receiving many questions regarding the theme, date and registration for Candlelight Memorial 2012.
We are pleased to announce that the 29th International Candlelight Memorial Day will take place on 20 May 2012.
The theme of the Memorial will be “Promoting Health and Dignity Together”. The theme links to the framework of Positive Health, Dignity and Prevention, which is a people centered and human rights based approach to support the health and wellbeing of people living with HIV.
The new International Candlelight Memorial website is currently under development. We hope to launch the website, publicly announce the theme, publish the posters and open registration early February.
We are confident that with our combined energy and efforts we will be able to make Candlelight Memorial another year of success.
